Not quite. The session is intentionally focused and relatively short, but the experience goes beyond simply arriving at the studio and taking a few photographs. I prepare for each person individually, direct the session around you, and carefully finish the final portraits afterwards. A mini -session would be to come down with no preparation sit down and just shoot some photo’s with no bigger intention.

Portrait Days is a limited series of personally curated studio portrait sessions. It’s designed to create portraits that feel personal and expressive, rather than a standard headshot or quick mini-session. Before we meet, I’ll ask you a few questions so I can shape the session around you.

Not at all. You don't need modelling experience or to know how to pose. A big part of my role is creating a relaxed environment and guiding you through the session. You can simply show up as yourself.

After booking, you'll receive a short personal questionnaire. I'll ask about you, what you do, what inspires you, how you'd like to be portrayed and what you want the photographs to communicate. Your answers give me a starting point for developing the visual direction of your session.

Absolutely. Your input is an important part of the process. The questionnaire gives me an idea of who you are and what you respond to, and we'll explore that together during the session. I’ll also guide you creatively when I see something working in front of the camera.

Your session includes 5 individually selected and professionally finished portraits. I don't simply export five images from the session. Each final photograph is carefully edited and retouched.

Yes. If there are additional photographs from your session that you love, you can purchase the complete edited gallery for an additional €75. The complete edited gallery will be the full selection you made after the session together with me in the studio.

There isn't a specific dress code. What you wear should feel like you. Your clothing can also become part of the visual character of the portraits, so you can mention any ideas, outfits or personal elements in the questionnaire. If you're unsure, I'm happy to guide you.

Anyone who wants a portrait that feels personal. Creatives, artists, musicians, designers, actors, entrepreneurs, makers of any kind but also anyone who simply wants to see themselves photographed in a different way. You don't need to have a particular profession or reason.

Because I don't want this to become a production line. The limited number of sessions allows me to give each person individual attention — from the questionnaire and preparation through to the final photographs. Six people means six different sessions, six different approaches and six different sets of portraits.
